Over 120 years ago, the company founder Anton Zahoransky took the first step into a new era of brush production with the development of the first drilling and tufting machine in Todtnau, Germany. Since then, we have evolved into a broadly positioned technology company. Today, we develop and produce precision technology for various high-tech industries at our four production sites in Germany, Spain and India.

Eight service locations in seven countries on three continents make us a reliable and efficient partner that contributes to the long-term success of our global customers.

With over 700 patents, we have the unique ability to integrate expertise in both injection mold and automation technology to develop cross-system solutions for the production of a wide range of applications in the fields of PersonalCare, Broom & Brush and HealthCare.

Product Introduction/Application Cases

1. 3D Tufting technology: The Z.AERO is a fully automatic production line for the production of finished toothbrushes, it guarantees safety operation with high output and quality without human impact. With up to 12 filament colors or types, up to 3000 brushes/h, the unique technology gives best brush quality and tuft retention.

2. Interdental and mascara brush solution: Z.SAILFIN is a fully automatic machine for the production of interdental and mascara brushes with max. Output 100 brushes/min, full-day operation without operator and highest productivity with smallest footprint. In combination with the Z.IDP, an integrated fully automatic production line, I-shaped or L-shaped interdental brushes can be produced. The Z.IDP includes cap assembly, camera inspection.

3. Anchor toothbrush solution: The Z.ORCA is all-in-one automatic toothbrush machine including tufting, trimming and finishing, with up to six different filament colors or types. The machine is able to tuft metal or – new – also plastic anchor wire and standard or chemical tapered filament.

Different versions (e.g. single/double tufting, 8/13/16 finishing stations) configured according to customer requirements, ergonomic rapid changeover saves valuable production time. The machine can produce up to 3600 brushes/h.

4. Household and technical brush solution: The Z.TIGER MT is a 5-axis drilling, tufting and trimming machine with a robot for handle feeding and output for fully automatic production of household brushes. A fully automatic filament feeding system is optionally available. The unique filling tool quick-change system is easy to change in less than 30 sec. and quick-change plates are compatible with other household machines, e.g. Z.PUMA, Z.LION or Z.PARD.
